Each individual is responsible for presenting one Website to the class. The presentations should be:
- approx. 5-10 minutes long
- what is the site is about?
- who is the site for?
- what do people do at the site?
- how do people navigate through the site?
- how effective is the site?
- produce an HTML summary of the website
When choosing a site, pick one that the whole class will find useful to see and which you will be an expert at discussing. Please do not pick commonly used mega-sites such as Amazon.com or Yahoo.com. Nor should you pick sites that look like a 5th grade class project. Some kinds of sites that you might want to consider are ones that:
- provide functionality that you frequently use (like your bank)
- pushes the boundary of what is possible
- has an interesting navigational scheme
- gives you an art experience
- would benefit from your suggestions for improvement
After your presentation, you will post an HTML summary of the presentationshould email a summary in HTML to Matthew to post on this page.
We will have 2 presentations/day.
