what is the site is about? Most of the site is made for overwellming you about the Walt Disney Magic: The part of the site is designed to take you on a fantasy trip: A Disney vacation.

who is the site for? This part of the site is mostly for adults: parents who want to plan a vacation

This site in general is for kids, however, the particular part of the site is for the purpose of helping the parents plan a customized vacation for their famiy.

what do people do at the site? There are “sub-sites” for the whole family:

To navigate, you click on a picture, each picture has a menu that pops up with a list, or site map of what’s in the sub-web.

how effective is the site? It’s a good tool because it uses children to convince their parents to spend money.
It pushes visual and audio the boundaries on the web
has an interesting navigational scheme based on a lot of pictures with popup menus of text, and sound.

A benefit would be to use bigger text for the adults who actually have and are willing to use their credit cards at this site.

Everything works and the site has a multipurpose of shopping, entertainment; including children’s activities.
Graphics are interesting and load fast (on my home computer)

moderate transition between pages and animation, may be slow for some home computers
not simple to get back to where you want to be if you go down the wrong path
contains too much information in small text, and though the sound helps to tell you what’s going on, if you don’t have speakers, your not going to be happy, especially for older people.
