The Site I choose to present is on
"Aquent" Design Competition.
What is the site about?
- This site was made for a Graphic Design Competition.
- 5 Designers go head-to-head in 4 rounds. Each round is a different project.
I found the navigation quite different from anything I've ever seen.
Who is the site for?
- The Site could be for other designers.
- It could also be for potential clients and/or existing clients.
- Its a good marketing tool for Aquent.
What do people do at the site?
- Potential clients can check out Designers work.
- People who visit this site can vote on there favorite design.
How effective is the site?
- Well I think this site is quite effective in the design element, but
it can be difficult for a first time user. The navigation is
cluttered an not easily visible.
That's the thing though,
sometimes you must sacrafice structure for design.
So I feel the overall design shares in its strength & weakness.
